An unusual sight in October 1993 was HST 43081 at Appleby, on the Settle-Carlisle line, with a Hertfordshire Rail Tours charter, halfway through its circular tour of the Pennines from St Pancras to Kings Cross. 43061 City of Lincoln was at the head of the train. |
